Kenya Administration And Management Exam (Kame)


EXAMINATION

The KAME Examination is held twice yearly in June and December. The examination is divided into two levels (intermediate and final level) each containing five papers, thus making a total of ten papers.
Following subjects are to be attempted in each of the examination:

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL



1. Foundations of Accounting
2. Business Studies
3. Elements of Communication
4. Office Administration
5. Elements of Law

 

FINAL LEVEL

6. a. Fundamentals of management
b. Fundamentals of Government Studies or,
c. Fundamentals of management of Co-operative Societies or,
d . Fundamentals of management of Local Authorities
7. Introduction to Economics
8. a. Introduction to Company Secretarial Practice or
b. Introduction to Public Administration
9. Elements of Public Finance

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

 

A person seeking to be registered as a student for the Kenya Administration and management Examination must show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications
a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examination with an
aggregate average of at least grade D plain.
b) A division III of the Cambridge school Certificate or East African Certificate of
Education or Kenya Certificate of Education.
c) A pass in EITHER the stage I or II of the ACNC Examination.
d) Such other certificates as may be approved by the Board.

MODE OF STUDY

 

The course will be offered on full time basis from
8.30am -5.00pm Monday to Friday
Twice a year (January and July)One elective subject (non examinable), Moral and Ethical Education including
recreational (sports) will be provided during the course.

FEES STRUCTURE

 

Payable on the first day
Registration fee KShs. 1,000
Caution money KShs. 1,000 (Refundable)
Library fee KShs. 500
Student card KShs. 500
Tuition Fee
KShs. 20,000 per term in lump sum or in
two installments as follows:
Payable on the first day KShs. 11,000
Payable on the 2nd month KShs. 10,000

KASNEB REGISTRATION & EXAMINATION FEE

Registration fees KShs. 3,000
Student Identity card KShs. 400
Exam fee KShs. 2,000

NSPSI REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Completed Registration Form
2 Passport size photographs
Photocopy of National identity card Registration fees, etc Tuition fees
