KNEC

The Kenya National Examination Council was established by the government of Kenya
in 1980 by an act of parliament (CAP225A) as a non-profit institution to conduct school
and post school examination and award certificates and diploma to succeed candidates
in Business, Technical and Computer Studies among others. The examinations are
recognized all over the African region and by some International examining bodies
Examination are offered in English.

KASNEB

The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board was established
by the Government of Kenya on 24th July 1969. The Board Develops, Administers,
manages and conducts examinations at professional and Technicians levels in
Accounting, Finance, Administration, management and Cognate subjects. The
examinations of the board are recognized world-wide and are comparable to similar
professional examinations in the world. The examiantions are in English.

A B E

The Association of Business Executives ABE (Associations of Business Executives)
is an internationally recognized examinations body based in the U.K. It offers a variety
of certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses. Its examinations are recognized
all over the world.

EXAMINATIONS

ABE examinations are held twice a year i.e. in June and December. The dates are
published in the journal Business Executives which is supplied free to all members.
The panel of examiners is supplied from staff of the U.K. universities and industry
and has direct experience of Business life.
